Job Description
The responsibilities of a Project Manager include:
- Leading projects from conceptual planning and preconstruction through final closeout.
- Participating in budgeting, estimating, and preconstruction planning efforts.
- Coordinating bidding activities, subcontractor procurement, and contract negotiations.
- Serving as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborating closely with estimating, field, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conducting constructability reviews and developing trade scopes.
- Managing permitting processes and utility coordination.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules utilizing Primavera P6.
- Monitoring project budgets, cash flow, and overall financial performance.
- Overseeing subcontractor performance and maintaining project quality standards.
- Ensuring project milestones, safety requirements, and client expectations are achieved.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Project Manager should have:
- 5-10 years of experience in construction project management.
- Experience leading at least two projects in a Project Manager capacity.
- Proven success managing projects valued at $10M+, with preference for experience on projects ranging from $40M-$70M.
- Strong leadership experience managing project teams and field personnel.
- Expertise in CPM scheduling, contract administration, budget oversight, and cash flow management.
- Experience working on occupied renovations and active campus facilities is highly preferred.
- Preconstruction experience is a plus.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, Autodesk products, PlanGrid, and Submittal Exchange.
- Strong communication, client management, and organizational skills.
