Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in Application Architecture. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable and efficient software solutions. As a contractor, you will work closely with cross functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business needs while ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop application architecture solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product is delivered.
Lead architectural discussions and design reviews, providing guidance and mentorship to development teams.
Ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with application architecture and design.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
Document architectural designs, decisions, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Mandatory Skills:
Strong expertise in Application Architecture, including design patterns, frameworks, and methodologies.
Proficient in cloud technologies and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Experience with microservices architecture and API design.
Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of data architecture and database design principles.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
Experience in leading architectural initiatives and driving change within organizations.
Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 15 years of experience in software development and architecture.
Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on Application Architecture.
Strong portfolio of successful projects demonstrating architectural expertise.
