    Electrical Project Manager & Estimator


    Job Summary


    Manage commercial electrical construction projects from estimating and preconstruction through closeout. This role oversees project planning, budgeting, execution, customer relationships, field coordination, and stakeholder communication while supporting repeat business and organizational growth.

    Responsibilities
    • Manage commercial electrical projects from preconstruction through closeout.
    • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, manpower forecasts, procurement, billing, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
    • Monitor financial performance, including forecasting, cost control, productivity, billing, and profitability.
    • Identify project risks and develop solutions to maintain schedules, budgets, and customer expectations.
    • Coordinate with field leadership, purchasing, vendors, warehouse personnel, and trade partners.
    • Prepare estimates, budgets, proposals, and project scopes for commercial electrical opportunities.
    • Collaborate with customers and design teams to establish project scope, schedules, and budgets.
    • Review drawings and specifications to identify scope requirements, risks, and opportunities.
    • Provide technical expertise and value-engineering solutions to improve project outcomes.
    • Serve as a primary contact for general contractors, owners, design teams, and other stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and successful project delivery.
    • Support repeat business and identify new opportunities through customer relationships, outreach, networking, pricing, and project pursuits.

    Requirements
    • Experience in commercial electrical construction project management and/or estimating.
    • Strong understanding of electrical construction, estimating, project cost accounting, scheduling, procurement, contracts, and forecasting.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
    • Strong financial, analytical, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to anticipate challenges, manage risk, and develop practical solutions.
    • Professional and customer-focused approach in a fast-paced construction environment.
