Our client is seeking an experienced Architecture Project Manager to join a growing San Francisco-based infrastructure design studio. This collaborative team delivers sustainable, resilient, and innovative architectural solutions for clients across the water, power, public works, and transportation sectors. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who excels at managing complex projects, building lasting client relationships, and leading multidisciplinary teams from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage small to mid-sized architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
  • Oversee project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong relationships through effective communication, meetings, and project reporting.
  • Lead and mentor Project Architects, Designers, and consultant teams to produce coordinated, high-quality design solutions.
  • Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, labor utilization, invoicing, and change/additional service management.
  • Develop thoughtful, visually compelling, and technically sound architectural designs tailored to public-sector clients.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years of architectural experience within a small to mid-sized firm or studio environment.

  • Proven experience managing technical project types, including:

  • Industrial facilities

  • Civic and public works projects

  • Commercial buildings

  • Administrative and operations facilities

  • Laboratories

  • Maintenance facilities

  • Transportation infrastructure projects

  • Bachelor"s and/or Master"s Degree in Architecture from an accredited program.

  • Proficiency with Revit, Bluebeam, Deltek, Microsoft Office, and related design/project management software.

  • LEED Accreditation preferred but not required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $128000.00/hr.
