A leading Salt Lake City area commercial general contractor is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to its team. This is a highly visible role with responsibility for leading projects from preconstruction through closeout while working closely with clients, field leadership, subcontractors, and internal teams.

You won’t simply be managing paperwork and schedules. You’ll be driving the project.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover
• Manage budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and overall project performance
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents and field teams to keep projects moving
• Manage subcontractor relationships, buyout, change orders, and cost control
• Lead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
• Forecast project costs and monitor financial performance
• Identify risks early and develop solutions before they impact the project
• Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the life of the project
• Support and mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience preferred
• Proven experience managing projects for a commercial general contractor
• Strong knowledge of construction operations, contracts, scheduling, and financial management
• Experience managing subcontractors and owner relationships
• Ability to lead multiple priorities without losing sight of the details
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
