Project Manager (Level II)
Location: Sacramento, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $105,000 – $125,000
ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking Project Managers at multiple experience levels to support our commercial construction projects. Project Managers are responsible for delivering projects from contract execution through closeout while maintaining financial discipline, schedule performance, quality standards, safety compliance, and strong client relationships
Candidates will be evaluated and placed at the appropriate level (I–V) based on experience, demonstrated capability, and readiness
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES (ALL LEVELS):
Manage assigned projects or scopes in accordance with company standards
Maintain project schedules, budgets, and contract compliance
Lead coordination with superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants
Manage change orders, billings, and project documentation
Ensure quality control, safety compliance, and closeout requirements
Communicate effectively with owners, trade partners, and internal leadership
LEVEL OVERVIEW: Level II – Progressing Project Manager
Manages defined scopes and subcontracts with moderate autonomy and accountability.
Level III – Project Manager
Independently manages projects from start to finish with full responsibility for cost, schedule, and client communication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Commercial construction project management experience appropriate to level
Strong understanding of contracts, cost control, and schedule management
Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively with clients
Proficiency with construction management software and reporting tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Experience with TI, ground-up, or negotiated delivery methods
Leadership or mentoring experience
