Building And Construction Project Manager

As a Building and Construction Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage projects from award through final completion
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects, and consultants
  • Oversee RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement activities
  • Monitor project costs, forecasting, and financial performance
  • Lead project meetings and provide updates to stakeholders
  • Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements
  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Support project closeout, punch-list completion, and turnover activities
  • Collaborate closely with Superintendents and field staff to ensure successful project execution

A successful Building and Construction Project Manager, candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction
  • Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Experience with contract administration and change management
  • Ability to lead project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Strong financial management and forecasting abilities
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred

Preferred Experience

  • Commercial, industrial, institutional, or specialty construction projects
  • Design-build and negotiated project delivery methods
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships
