Building And Construction Project Manager

As a Building and Construction Project Manager in Rochester, NY you will:
- Manage construction projects from award through completion
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Lead communication with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Negotiate and administer contracts, purchase orders, and change orders
- Review plans, specifications, and project documentation
- Monitor project financial performance and profitability
- Coordinate with field teams to ensure schedule and quality objectives are met
- Identify and mitigate project risks and challenges
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget

A successful Building and Construction Project Manager in Rochester, NY should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction
- Proven success managing projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Strong understanding of construction methods, contracts, and project delivery
- Experience managing project budgets and cost controls
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
