    Summary



    The Project Manager - Rigging Planning is responsible for the coordination of all overhead rigging, sign hanging, and associated electrical requirements for produced events. This position serves as the primary liaison between Project Design and Rigging. The primary function of the Project Manager – Rigging Planning is to be an in-house position to assist with estimating and technical drawings for all aspects of overhead work. Additionally, this position will go to show site to assist when needed.


    This position will support our Unified Rigging group on the Audio Visual Production team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be based out of any of the following locations:


    + Dallas, TX

    + San Antonio, TX

    + Houston, TX

    + Austin, TX

    + Orlando, FL


    Essential Duties & Responsibilities



    + Creates and maintains show files/show kits to ensure completion of required documentation

    + Engineers rigging and fulfills orders for overhead work enterprise wide in appropriatate systems

    + Works with the clients to gather specifications and enter into the appropriate systems

    + Creates completely engineered rigging drawings with point loads and associated paperwork

    + Assists with creating estimates for clients

    + Create training material and training of Project Manager – Rigging Logistics position

    + Creates packaged pre-work to hand off to show site personnel

    + Create and Test new processes and procedures

    + Assist with Scheduling of Project Manager – Rigging Logistics position

    + Performs other duties as assigned


    Education & Experience



    + High School Diploma or equivalent required

    + Minimum 4 years experience in Overhead Rigging is preferred

    + Proficient in MS Office suite

    + Proficient with Google Sheets & Google Docs

    + Familiarity with exposition work tickets preferred

    + Familiarity with local union jurisdictions and rules preferred

    + Technical overhead rigging training required


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations



    + ETCP Certified Arena Rigger is preferred


    Travel Requirements



    Travel up to 25%
