Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee multiple ground-up retail and commercial construction projects throughout the Northwest Suburbs. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Description

  • Manage all phases of construction projects from buyout through completion
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, contracts, and procurement activities
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates
  • Review and process change orders, RFIs, and submittals
  • Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget
  • Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Support business development efforts and client relationships

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of project management experience with a general contractor
  • Experience managing ground-up retail and commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, contracts, and scheduling
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
