Job Description

Lead all phases of project management from preconstruction through closeout on a large-scale multifamily/student housing development. Manage project budgets, schedules, forecasting, contracts, and overall financial performance. Coordinate with ownership groups, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Drive preconstruction activities, constructability reviews, and project planning efforts ahead of the project start date. Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor buyout, and risk management processes. Monitor project milestones and proactively address schedule, budget, and operational challenges. Partner closely with field leadership to ensure quality, safety, and productivity goals are achieved. Provide regular communication and reporting to executive leadership and project teams. Support business growth initiatives and contribute to the continued expansion of the Raleigh operation.

The Successful Applicant

Must-Have Qualifications: Proven experience managing multifamily construction projects from start to finish. Experience as a Project Manager with the ability to operate independently with minimal training or oversight. Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contracts, procurement, and project controls. Experience working with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams. Ability to lead large-scale commercial or residential construction projects valued at $50M+. Preferred Experience: Senior-level Project Manager background within multifamily construction. Student housing project experience. Previous experience working within the Raleigh, NC market. Existing local subcontractor and industry relationships. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
