Description
- Lead municipal and public-sector projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and reporting.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Manage contractor buyout, procurement, subcontract negotiations, and contract administration.
- Review and process RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
- Lead project meetings and maintain strong client relationships.
- Partner with field leadership to ensure seamless project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining profitability.
- Oversee project closeout, punch list completion, and turnover documentation.
Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline preferred.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
- Experience managing municipal, education, civic, government, public safety, recreation, or other public-sector projects.
- Strong financial management and scheduling experience.
- Familiarity with public bidding processes and municipal contracting requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software.
