Description
- Manage public construction projects from planning through completion
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement, and cost controls
- Coordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
- Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, and project documentation
- Track project performance and proactively resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with agency requirements, project specifications, and safety standards
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
Profile
A successful Project Manager should have:
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
- Proven experience delivering NYC public, institutional, government, or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration
- Experience working with public agencies and multiple project stakeholders
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software
- Driven, solutions-oriented, and capable of managing complex projects
