Description

The Project Manager, Janitorial Services is responsible for overseeing all aspects of janitorial operations within an assigned portfolio of facilities. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality cleaning services, manages client relationships, supervises staff, maintains compliance with safety standards, and drives operational efficiency. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for customers and is accountable for meeting performance, staffing, financial, and service quality objectives.

Compensation: $76,220.00 annual salary (US Dollars)

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program

401(k) - You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. You become eligible for the ABM match beginning the first of the month following six months of employment. ABM matches your pre-tax and/or Roth contributions, dollar for dollar, for the first 3%. For the next 2%, ABM contributes $0.50 for each dollar you contribute. Your contributions and match are immediately vested.

  • Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of janitorial, facilities, housekeeping, or environmental services management experience.
  • Previous experience supervising large teams in a service-based environment.
  • Experience managing budgets, labor planning, and operational performance.

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day janitorial operations across one or multiple sites.
  • Ensure all cleaning services are performed according to contract specifications and company standards.
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and quality audits.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans to address service deficiencies.
  • Monitor work schedules and optimize labor utilization.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop janitorial supervisors and frontline employees.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and disciplinary action as needed.
  • Promote a positive work environment focused on safety, quality, and employee engagement.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet operational demands.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and client representatives.
  • Conduct routine customer meetings to review performance and address concerns.
  • Respond promptly to customer requests and service issues.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and contract retention rates.

Financial Management

  • Manage budgets, labor costs, supplies, and operational expenses.
  • Review payroll, scheduling, and staffing reports for accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.
  • Support contract renewals, pricing reviews, and business growth initiatives.

Safety and Compliance

  • Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
  • Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and training programs.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
