Scope of the Project: The selected candidate will manage multiple projects through solicitation, selection, contract negotiation, acquisition, implementation, migration, archival, and sunset of legacy applications.
Daily Duties / Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage all project management activities for agency-wide initiatives as an experienced agency Project Manager.
• Demonstrate project management expertise in both traditional Waterfall and Agile methodologies and influence project team compliance with industry best practices.
• Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects in parallel.
• Control project scope and schedule to ensure deliverables, milestones, and required tasks are completed as planned.
• Collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, project sponsors, and agency leadership.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives.
• Plan and conduct project status and review meetings.
• Prepare project status reports and provide regular updates to stakeholders and sponsors.
• Work effectively with a diverse group of professionals at all levels of the agency.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage development of project documentation for newly assigned services and initiatives.
• Support ongoing process improvement around project delivery, methodology, and related areas.
• Identify potential problems proactively and facilitate resolution by implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.

Candidate must have one of the following certifications or be in the process of obtaining the certification:

• PMP
• PMI-ACP
• CSM
