Position Overview
The Project Manager reports to the Manager of Piping Operations and oversees projects within the Piping Business Unit. This position leads project teams to deliver results in safety, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The Project Manager ensures alignment with company project and field operations processes, supports the development of Project Engineers and Foremen, and maintains responsibility for materials management, cost forecasting, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all phases of assigned mechanical and piping projects from planning through completion.
• Lead project teams to meet objectives in safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, and progress reporting.
• Support and mentor Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Foremen to strengthen operational capabilities.
• Ensure alignment with company field operations standards and project delivery processes.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and satisfaction.
• Oversee procurement, subcontracting, and materials management.
• Ensure compliance with ESH and quality control standards across all sites.
• Promote continuous improvement and leadership development within project teams.
Required Qualifications
• Comprehensive knowledge of ultra‑high‑purity process piping construction and maintenance methods.
• Expertise in industrial construction project processes and contract management.
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑building abilities in a construction environment.
• Experience with project cost projections, WIP accounting, and progress tracking.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Commitment to servant leadership principles and safety‑driven culture.
Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ years of industrial piping project management experience leading projects exceeding $5MM, or 4+ years in a large mechanical contracting project engineering program.
• Experience managing prefabrication or modular piping projects.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM 360), Revit, or Navisworks.
• OSHA 30‑hour certification preferred.
