Project Manager PMP

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead large-scale, strategic, and complex IT software or infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile project management, budget and schedule control, vendor management, and coordination of large, cross-functional teams.

The role requires excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, along with the ability to manage high-visibility projects with multiple stakeholders, complex schedules, vendor participation, and system integrations.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience managing IT software or infrastructure projects involving 50 or more team members.

• Advanced experience managing Agile projects.

• Strong experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.

• Advanced vendor management experience.

• Experience writing or participating in the development of Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), or contracts.

• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage complex project dependencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Experience managing large, strategic, and high-visibility IT initiatives.

• Experience coordinating projects involving multiple systems, vendors, and diverse stakeholder groups.

Location and Work Requirements

• Candidates must currently reside within 90 miles of Lansing, Michigan, at the time of submission.

• Hybrid work arrangement with onsite presence required starting Day 1, two days per week.

• Remote-only candidates will not be considered.

• Candidates must be available for a potential in-person second-round interview.
