Duration: 12 Month Contract

Required Pay Scale: $59-61/hr W2
Job Summary:
This role leads the integration of Direct Express into the Money Network, a high‑impact program tied to federal benefit payments, compliance, and large‑scale technology modernization. As the project manager, you'll act as the central driver keeping workstreams aligned, guiding technical, operational, and vendor teams, managing risks, ensuring regulatory requirements are met, and maintaining momentum through a period of major organizational transition. You'll also support additional AI and technology initiatives as needed.
Project Details:
This role supports the integration of Direct Express into the Money Network, a major initiative tied to federal benefit payments, regulatory requirements, and large‑scale technology work. The project involves coordinating technical, operational, and business teams to ensure the transition happens smoothly and meets all federal standards. You will manage timelines, risks, vendor relationships, and communication across multiple groups while keeping the project aligned with Treasury expectations. The work also includes supporting additional AI and technology modernization efforts as needed.
Key areas of focus include strategic planning, cross‑functional leadership, risk and compliance management, stakeholder engagement, vendor oversight, and quality assurance.
Must Haves
Strong project management experience leading complex, multi‑team initiatives, ideally in environments with regulatory or payments‑related requirements. Ability to work through ambiguity and shifting priorities while keeping teams aligned and moving forward. Proven experience influencing technical, operational, and vendor teams to adopt new processes or ways of working. Strong communication skills and confidence managing stakeholders at different levels. Comfort working in a fast‑moving, compliance‑heavy program tied to federal standards. Familiarity with areas like risk management, cross‑functional leadership, and vendor oversight is important for success in this role.
Desired Skills
Experience working in federal programs, payments, or other highly regulated environments is helpful for this role. Familiarity with coordinating across technical, operational, and vendor teams makes the work smoother, especially during large integrations. Background in areas like regulatory compliance, vendor management, and technology modernization is valuable. Candidates who are comfortable creating clear visuals, timelines, and documentation for leadership tend to excel. Exposure to AI or automation projects is a plus, as this role may support additional technology initiatives.
