This position oversees multiple architectural and engineering projects through planning, design, documentation, and construction support. The Project Manager partners with technical teams, clients, consultants, and leadership to maintain project scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring projects progress efficiently through each phase. The role requires operational ownership, strong project controls, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary resources across several concurrent engagements. Candidates should possess the technical credibility and leadership experience necessary to guide engineering teams while serving as the primary point of accountability for project execution.
What You'll Do
- Manage multiple architecture and engineering projects simultaneously through proposal, design, and construction phases.
- Develop detailed project plans including scope, milestones, staffing requirements, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Lead meetings with clients, owner representatives, consultants, and internal design teams.
- Coordinate design deliverables across architectural and engineering disciplines.
- Monitor project budgets, forecast expenditures, and maintain financial performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project changes involving scope, schedule, and cost while maintaining documentation and approvals.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including schedules, meeting minutes, progress reports, and status updates.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies before they impact delivery.
- Coordinate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout each project phase.
- Support additional project delivery initiatives as business needs require.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.
- Minimum six years of experience within an architectural and engineering consulting environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent engineering or architectural projects.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, OneNote, and SharePoint.
- Experience coordinating and publishing construction documentation.
- Working knowledge of Deltek and/or Ajera project management software preferred.
- Ability to travel in support of active projects.
