    Job Overview:

    Responsible for the coordination and completion of Engineering, Sales, Operations, Manufacturing or Construction projects. Tracks project status for life of project from order intake thru engineering, follows up on material supply with purchasing to meet production demands and tracks projects thru production to hit delivery targets. Sets deadlines, monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. Prepares schedules for customers and tracks billing milestones.

    Responsibilities:

    • Reviews project plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
    • Establishes project schedule by determining required time by department for project, coordinating with managers and supervisors to determine staff that will be working on projects.
    • Coordinates with staff from multiple departments to keep simultaneous projects on schedule.
    • Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modified schedules or plans as required.
    • Works with customer's inspectors and expeditors to review project status, documentation, customer change orders, etc.
    • Manages milestone billing based on project progression and agreed upon terms.
    • Documents, tracks and drives resolution to internal and external punch list items to maintain project schedules.
    • Prepares project reports and schedules for management, customers, or others as required.
    • Confers with project personnel to resolve problems.
    • Performs post-project meetings to best practices and areas of potential improvement for future projects.
    • Other duties performed as assigned by supervisor.

    Requirements:

    • 5+years Project Management experience
    • BS- Engineering or equivalent education

    Preferred:

    • Knowledge of industry codes, symbols and ASME code standards.
    • Ability to understand engineering environment and terminology.
    • Knowledge of compressed air equipment
    • SAP experience
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and MS Project.
    • Ability to effectively communicate in English both orally and in written form.
    • Ability to learn.
    • Use of standard computer and office equipment.
    • Strong interpersonal skills - will have constant communication interdepartmentally as well as to external customers.
