Description

Minimum Requirements • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering (ABET-accredited) or a minimum of 4 years of college credits. • Strong knowledge of residential structural systems and construction methods. • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting). • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • This position may require additional hours above 40 hours per week to meet deadlines as needed and is part of your full-time employment responsibilities. Position Summary As a Project Manager, you will lead and manage residential structural engineering projects from concept through completion, combining technical design expertise with project management and client communication responsibilities. Project Manager (Non-Licensed) Key Responsibilities Technical Design & Documentation • Develop structural designs and prepare construction documents (roof, floor, foundation plans). • Prepare structural details and specifications. • Review drawings for accuracy and code compliance. • Additional areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to are structural calculations, shop drawing reviews, field repairs, permit and plan review responsibilities Project Management • Manage multiple concurrent projects. • Maintain schedules and meet production deadlines. • Assign and delegate projects and tasks. • Prepare proposals and pricing in accordance with company standards. • Monitor project progress using project management software. • Maintain accountability for timelines and deliverables. • Mentor Project Engineers in their Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
