Job Description

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from planning through closeout
  • Lead project financial management including forecasting, cost control, billing, and reporting
  • Coordinate project schedules and ensure milestone delivery
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, buyout strategies, and contract administration
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Conduct constructability reviews and assist with preconstruction planning efforts
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners
  • Identify project risks proactively and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are maintained throughout project delivery
  • Provide leadership and direction to project teams while driving successful outcomes

The Successful Applicant

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager or 4+ Assistant Project Manager within commercial construction
  • 5+ years of overall construction industry experience
  • Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects valued at $10M+
  • Background in commercial, institutional, educational, renovation, modernisation, or design-build projects
  • Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
  • Strong understanding of project budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
  • Experience managing subcontractors, change orders, RFIs, and project closeout processes
  • Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic project environment
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Self-starter with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
