Traveling Electrical Project Manager

Pay range: $125,000$175,000, based on relevant experience

About the Role
The Electrical Project Manager leads electrical construction projects across the country. This role coordinates field work, schedules, budgets, vendors, and customer communication.
You will manage projects from preconstruction through closeout while supporting safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals.
What Youll Do
- Manage electrical construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and cost forecasts.
- Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and change orders.
- Monitor costs, risks, and project progress.
- Lead project meetings and provide clear updates.
- Follow safety requirements and company policies.
- Identify project issues and coordinate solutions.
- Support the purchase of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
- Travel to project sites across the country as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing electrical construction projects.
- Knowledge of commercial, industrial, or mission-critical electrical systems.
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, forecasts, and contracts.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Experience with project scheduling or construction management software.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read electrical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Project.
- Ability to travel frequently and meet the transportation needs of the role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in construction management, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Master Electrician license or a related industry certification.
- Experience with large commercial, industrial, manufacturing, data center, or renewable energy projects.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
