Project Manager - Multiple Commercial Projects - South of Boston

BELMONT Search is a Construction and Infrastructure executive search firm. We work with general contractors and construction managers across Greater Boston and the South Shore, on commercial, multifamily and institutional projects.

THE OPPORTUNITY

A Project Manager position with an established general contractor south of Boston, carrying a portfolio of commercial projects that run at the same time rather than one job in sequence. The position reports to the head of operations, works from the office with regular time on each site, and is the senior project person on the work it holds.

THE ROLE

Several projects at once, each between $1,000,000 and $10,000,000, from award through closeout. The contracts, the owners and the subcontractor base are yours across the portfolio, with a project engineer or assistant and a superintendent on each job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Buyout, subcontracts and purchase orders across concurrent projects
• Owner relationships and the monthly requisition on each contract
• Cost reporting, forecasting and change orders across the portfolio
• Schedules built with each superintendent and held through turnover
• Submittals, requests for information and procurement, delegated and reviewed
• Closeout and warranty on every project in the group

QUALIFICATIONS

• Seven or more years in commercial construction project management
• Experience running more than one project at a time as the responsible manager
• Commercial, tenant improvement or light institutional work in New England
• Procore or a comparable project management platform
• A construction management or engineering degree, or equivalent experience in the field

COMPENSATION

Base of $130,000 to $160,000, plus bonus and vehicle allowance.
