Project Manager - Multifamily Construction - Madison

Mid-sized, Madison general contractor is actively looking to add a strong project manager to their team. This firm is well-respected in the Dane County market for their multifamily and mixed-use work. Description

• Manage multifamily construction projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget objectives are met.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and internal project teams throughout the construction process.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, cost forecasts, and procurement plans.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor daily construction activities, site progress, quality standards, safety requirements, and adherence to project specifications.
• Lead project meetings, communicate milestones and issues, and provide regular updates to ownership, leadership, and stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve construction, scheduling, budget, and coordination issues while proactively managing project risks.
• Oversee project closeout, inspections, punch lists, commissioning, turnover, warranties, and final documentation.

Profile

• 2+ years of lead project management experience
• Strong background in multifamily, commercial, or mixed-use construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Track record of leading projects valued at $5M+
• Strong client-facing abilities

Job Offer

• Base salary of $110,000 to $150,000 dependent on qualifications.
