An established national multifamily General Contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing South Florida construction team. The successful candidate will oversee ground-up multifamily projects ranging from garden-style/block-and-plank communities through complex Type I mid-rise and high-rise developments.

Their portfolio includes affordable, mixed-income and market-rate multifamily developments, with projects ranging from garden-style communities to large-scale mid-rise and high-rise construction.
Description
- Manage ground-up multifamily projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement and change orders.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, Superintendents and other project stakeholders.
- Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve schedule, cost and operational challenges.
- Conduct project meetings and maintain effective communication between field and project teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with safety, quality, budget and schedule expectations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation using Procore or comparable construction management software.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and project partners throughout South Florida.

Profile
A successful Project Manager should have:
- 7+ years of construction experience in South Florida.
- Must have worked directly for a General Contractor, rather than exclusively for a developer or owner's representative.
- Strong ground-up multifamily construction experience.
- Proven experience delivering Type I mid-rise and/or high-rise construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience taking projects through the full construction lifecycle from start to finish.
- Strong, stable employment history rather than frequent moves every 1-2 years.
- Experience working with reputable General Contractors.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management and project controls.
- Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Offer
- Base salary between $150K-$170K+, with flexibility above this range for the right individual.
- Annual bonus opportunity up to 20%.
