The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large-scale MES implementations and upgrades, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing vendors and risks, and driving successful shop-floor adoption.
 
Required / Essential Skills

• 10+ years of Project Management experience.
• Direct experience managing Manufacturing IT and MES implementation projects.
• Hands-on project management experience with one or more MES platforms such as:
  • Apriso
  • Rockwell
  • Siemens
  • Ignition
  • SAP ME/MII
• Strong understanding of shop-floor systems and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM).
• Experience with large-scale system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Knowledge of hardware/software integration within manufacturing environments.
• Strong experience with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and governance.
• Strong risk, issue, dependency, and change management skills.
• Experience managing vendors, contracts, and SLAs.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively with technical, operational, engineering, and business stakeholders.

 
Preferred Skills

• Industry 4.0 / Smart Manufacturing experience.
• Manufacturing digital transformation experience.
• MES/MOM integration experience.
• Experience with shop-floor user training and adoption.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams and geographically distributed teams.
• PMP or other recognized project management certification.
