Title: Project Manager – Mechanical Construction
Location: Orlando FL
Salary: $100K–$110K base
(higher based on experience) + performance bonuses up to $200K
Benefits:
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity
for a Project Manager who wants full ownership of a project from the day it's
handed off to the day it closes out. You'll run the entire life cycle —
planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality — on mechanical construction
projects, working closely with field teams, subcontractors, and customers to
bring each job in safely, on budget, and on schedule.
If you like being the person who
keeps a project moving, solves problems before they become delays, and takes
pride in a clean close-out, this role gives you the autonomy and support to do
exactly that — with real earning upside built into the bonus structure.
Responsibilities
• Own projects end-to-end — from hand-off and kick-off
through closeout
• Set up and manage project budgets, costs, and monthly
financial reviews
• Lead safety, quality, and submittals throughout the
project
• Negotiate vendor/subcontractor agreements and manage
payables/receivables
• Run day-to-day project needs — site meetings,
scheduling, RFIs, inspections, billing
• Keep budget and scope aligned through change management
• Handle close-out documentation and coordinate
start-up/commissioning
• Build strong relationships with your team, customers,
subcontractors, and vendors
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering
design/project management, mechanical construction, or facilities management
• Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills
• High proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of construction technologies,
scheduling, equipment, materials, methods, and financial management
• Effective presentation, verbal, and written
communication skills
• Demonstrated leadership — comfortable addressing
challenges, resolving issues, and keeping people motivated and aligned
• Construction management or related technical degree is
a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and work comfortably in
the field, including lifting up to 20 lbs
• Someone who wants full ownership of a project rather
than a narrow slice of one
• A leader who wants visibility with company leadership
and a real say in how the project runs
• Someone motivated by upside — strong base pay plus
meaningful bonus potential up to $200K
• A safety-minded PM who takes pride in a clean,
well-documented close-out
• Someone ready to build long-term stability and growth
with a company that invests in its people
