Project Manager - MEP - Kansas City

Headquartered in Kansas City, my client serves as a design-build general contracting firm with a focus on the commercial MEP space. They primarily oversee HVAC and lighting upgrades in the education and public spaces.

• Lead field operations and oversee daily project activities.
• Drive project execution to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel.
• Maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
• Control project budgets, costs, and financial forecasting.
• Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
• Enforce safety policies and quality control standards.
• Lead risk management and contract administration efforts.
• Support field engineering and technical project requirements.

• 8+ years of general contracting experience
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
• MEP and HVAC project knowledge
• Ability to work autonomously and manage project from full cradle to grave
• Familiarity with construction safety regulations and compliance requirements
• A detail-oriented mindset with excellent organization and planning skills
• Collaborative approach and execution
