Job Description

The Project Manager - MEP/Infrastructure - Washington, D.C. will be responsible for:

  • Manage multiple renovation and modernization projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, design teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead subcontractor negotiations, contract administration, and resource planning.
  • Monitor project costs, schedules, quality standards, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with MEP engineering teams.
  • Drive successful project outcomes while maintaining strong client relationships and communication.
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Support projects involving HVAC modernization, building infrastructure upgrades, electrical systems, renewable energy technologies, and facility resilience initiatives.
  • Contribute to a growing portfolio of federal, municipal, university, hospitality, and data center projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Project Manager - MEP/Infrastructure - Washington, D.C. should have:

  • 5+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction.
  • Experience managing renovation, retrofit, upgrade, or infrastructure-focused projects.
  • Background working for a General Contractor, Construction Manager, or Mechanical Contractor preferred.
  • Strong understanding of subcontractor management, scheduling, budgeting, and project coordination.
  • Experience overseeing MEP-intensive projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or building systems projects preferred.
  • Federal project experience, particularly (USACE, NAVFAC, GSA) or other government agencies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred but not required.
