Project manager

Linney is a world-class, multichannel marketing services business. We are looking to appoint a project manager to work collaboratively with the category account director, client and Linney teams. Based at Linney in Mansfield, they will be the primary point of contact for their clients' product teams, and will be responsible for ensuring all new briefs for packaging are delivered successfully.

We are looking for a hands-on account manager with a passion for great customer service. Applicants should be accomplished at taking creative briefs and have a good understanding of structural CAD design and print production processes.

They need to be prepared to take the initiative to accomplish objectives, pushing beyond the boundaries and being proactive. A strong performer with a high level of commitment, they will be expected to contribute actively to a positive and enjoyable work environment.

They will be responsible for time and cost management of their own projects, and will need to demonstrate experience in critical path creation, quotation requests and commercial governance. Other characteristics will include a natural ability to multi-task, project-manage, and assist teams to ensure successful end-to-end project delivery.

Great organisation skills, meticulous attention to detail, common sense, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and outstanding customer service and professionalism are all key to this role. The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude who can recognise and understand their clients' promotional requirements, challenges and goals.

Essential skills and experience:

• Good presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Broad understanding of the production process (CAD design, load-ups, print production, and distribution)
• A passion for sustainability and innovation
• A willingness to embrace change and find ways to improve
• Experience in a retail or corporate environment or agency
• Proven project management and self-management skills
• Experience in all Microsoft applications
