Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a growing team responsible for delivering multiple active construction projects. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing project execution, maintaining schedules, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, documentation, and overall project controls
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, consultants, owners, and project stakeholders
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all parties
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Ensure compliance with public works regulations and project requirements
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues
- Support field teams and provide leadership throughout all phases of construction
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Drive projects to completion while maintaining quality, safety, and client satisfaction
Profile
- 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
- Proven experience managing complex commercial construction projects
- Public works construction experience required
- Strong understanding of prevailing wage requirements and public sector project processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors simultaneously
- Strong scheduling, planning, and organisational skills
- Experience with project documentation, contracts, and project controls
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to support the organisation wherever needed
- Ability to adapt quickly and contribute with minimal training
