    Position Summary

    The Project Manager plays a key role in supporting BDI’s landscaping operations while helping empower team members of all abilities. This position works closely with the Sr. Operations Manager to coordinate daily activities, maintain high service standards, and ensure an inclusive, supportive work environment for employees with disabilities. It’s an ideal role for someone who values teamwork, organization, and meaningful impact.

    Key Responsibilities

    Project & Operational Support

    • Assist with coordinating daily landscaping activities across multiple sites.
    • Help implement maintenance schedules, safety procedures, and quality standards.
    • Support communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
    • Monitor project progress and help address operational needs or delays.

    Inclusive Team Support

    • Work together with team members with varying abilities, offering guidance and encouragement.
    • Collaborate with job coaches, vocational counselors, and support staff to ensure accommodations are met.
    • Promote a respectful, inclusive, and empowering work culture.

    Administrative & Planning Assistance

    • Assist with tracking labor hours, materials, and project expenses.
    • Help prepare reports, documentation, and updates for the Project Manager.
    • Support planning efforts for ground improvements and ongoing service enhancements.
    • Contribute to identifying efficient opportunities and potential client needs.

    Training & Development Support

    • Assist in delivering training tailored to diverse learning styles and abilities.
    • Help reinforce skill development and career growth opportunities for team members.
    • Support compliance with ADA standards and other relevant regulations.

    Quality Assurance & Safety

    • Participate in site inspections to ensure work meets quality expectations.
    • Help identify and resolve deficiencies or safety concerns.
    • Promote safe work practices and accessible environments across all job sites.

    Qualifications

    • Experience in landscaping, facilities services, or a related field preferred.
    • Effective communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing abilities.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.

    Preferred Attributes

    • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or working in inclusive environments.
    • Familiarity with ADA guidelines and inclusive employment practices.

    Required Education

    High School Diploma or GED

    Additional Eligibility Qualifications

    • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift 35lbs, walk and push and pull
    • Must pass a background check and MVR inquiry
