Role Overview
Own planning, tracking, coordination, and reporting for an active Lab and OT Security Program
Serve as the operational backbone for a multi-workstream, multi-site security initiative
Coordinate activities across:
NAA remediation
Software download restrictions
Vulnerability remediation
USB data transfer controls
Coordinate a distributed team consisting of:
5 OT Security Engineers
Business Analyst
Multiple site partners
US and UK teams
External technology vendors
Ensure work is properly planned and dependencies are clearly identified
Surface risks and blockers early
Provide appropriate status and information to stakeholders ranging from lab scientists to CISO-level sponsors
Operate as a hands-on, execution-focused Project Manager without direct management authority
Program Planning & Tracking
Own and maintain the master program plan across all four security workstreams
Maintain the program Gantt chart
Ensure the following are accurate and current:
Task owners
Dependencies
Milestones
Target dates
Track progress against key program milestones, including:
RC4 pilot test
Allow/deny list activation
Service account demand intake launch
System owner engagement completion
Phase 2 completion
Identify and manage dependencies across:
Workstreams
Site partners
InfoSec
Active Directory teams
ServiceNow
External vendors
Maintain a live risk and issue log
Escalate blockers to appropriate program leadership in a timely and structured manner
Agile Pod Coordination
Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including:
Sprint planning
Daily stand-ups
Retrospectives
Coordinate the Agile pod of five OT Security Engineers
Ensure engineers are:
Unblocked
Properly directed
Aligned with program priorities
Manage and prioritize the team's work backlog
Align backlog priorities with:
Program milestones
Stakeholder commitments
Coordinate workload distribution across site partners
Track site-specific dependencies and ensure balanced coverage
Work closely with the Business Analyst to align:
Stakeholder engagement timelines
Engineering execution timelines
Ensure field discoveries are incorporated into the program plan in real time
Dependency & Vendor Coordination
Track and manage dependencies with:
InfoSec
Active Directory teams
ServiceNow
BeyondTrust
CrowdStrike
Other technology vendors
Coordinate vendor engagement schedules across sites
Track and maintain:
Vendor access approvals
Named-allow confirmations
Vendor engagement records
Monitor the service account demand intake pipeline once activated
Ensure requests are appropriately:
Triaged
Assigned
Actioned within agreed timelines
Change & Hypercare Management
Plan and coordinate hypercare periods following major milestones
Support hypercare after:
RC4 rollout
Allow/deny activation
Phase 2 completion
Ensure adequate team staffing during hypercare
Document response and escalation processes
Track and close hypercare findings
Ensure stabilization issues are:
Logged
Assigned owners
Tracked
Resolved within agreed timelines
Maintain a lessons-learned log across all workstreams
