My $500M client established their Kansas City office in 2021. They provide quality general contracting services in multiple markets such as commercial, healthcare, multifamily, light-industrial, office space, government, and data center. They pride themselves on having a customer-centric attitude which has resulted in repeat business and success. The ideal candidate will have 5-15+ years of Project Management experience in the commercial construction space.
Manage project objectives by balancing contract requirements, financial constraints, schedule expectations, and overall cost considerations.
Provide guidance and direction to the Superintendent to ensure successful project delivery and adherence to organizational quality standards.
Make informed decisions rooted in a thorough understanding of the project's progress, integrating multiple moving parts to achieve a successful outcome.
Align project results with the expectations of the Owner and Architect while controlling schedule, budget, and cost factors.
Take responsibility for decisions that influence overall project costs and determine the level of success achieved.
Prioritize tasks, plan activities, and organize workflows to maintain project momentum and efficiency.
Establish and refine processes or strategies that enhance productivity and translate client expectations into a clear vision of the finished product.
Exercise independent judgement on significant issues, including when to adjust procedures, deviate from established standards, or make necessary adaptations to meet both client goals and company objectives.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Clients, Owner Representatives, Architects, and Trade Partners to support future business opportunities.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
5-15+ years of project management experience in the general contractor space
Experience in leadership and/or management of a team
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, market conditions, and subcontractor trades
Proficiency in software and project management tools
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Highly organized with strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Base salary up to $150,000
