Position Summary
The Project Manager, IT is responsible for leading and managing all phases of assigned technology projects, serving as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. This role partners closely with management and business teams to guide projects from initial concept and planning through implementation, deployment, and final project closeout.The Project Manager, IT manages project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria while developing detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and status reports. The role facilitates project meetings, monitors progress, manages risks and issues, and ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor''s degree in Information Systems or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and directly related IT experience.
Minimum of five years of IT project management experience, including at least two years managing digital financial projects.
Experience serving as a Scrum Master; certification preferred
PMP certification preferred
Experience working directly with vendors
Ability to manage multiple moderately complex projects simultaneously
Solid understanding of the project lifecycle and project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.
Proficiency in project management disciplines, including:
Project planning, scheduling, task assignment, and tracking
Scope management, including dependencies, milestones, critical path, metrics, key events, risks, and issues
Resource management, including budget and effort estimation, tracking, reporting, and forecasting
Change management, including project change requests and exceptions
Risk management, including risk assessments, mitigation planning, and escalations
Strong technical background with the ability to identify and manage competing priorities and stakeholder interests
Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and other project documentation and reporting tools
Self-starter with strong verbal, written, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to build effective teams, influence cross-functional stakeholders, negotiate, resolve conflicts, and manage resources within a matrixed organization
Ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence and effective escalation management
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization

Salary Range
The hiring salary range is based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and internal equity. Compensation decisions are made in consideration of these factors and in alignment with Fremont Bank's compensation philosophy.
