Responsibilities

Project Management for assigned projects and enhancements to new or existing systems, following the client's SDLC methodology (Agile & Waterfall) and deliverables.

• Manage project plans, staff tasks, track progress, and report project status.
• Track dependencies and manage project risks and issues.
• Manage project communications with business and IT stakeholders.
• Review, refine, and validate complex business requirements and consolidate them into a clear, prioritized backlog.
• Review technical designs with Solution Architects and Technical Leads.
• Ensure quality by collaborating with QA teams on test planning and execution.
• Coordinate, schedule, and lead stakeholder meetings; distribute meeting minutes.
• Create presentations and communication materials for various stakeholders, including business and executive leadership.
• Manage releases and post-launch activities end to end, including production support as needed.
• Monitor team performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain transparency with Product Owners and executive stakeholders.
• Support and empower Consumer Applications delivery teams and Product Owners in making appropriate commitments through story and task definition.
• Drive continuous team improvement through data-driven inspections, retrospectives, and adaptations.
• Ensure team documentation and project collateral remain accurate and relevant to changing business needs.

What This Person Will Be Working On

The Consumer Applications Department of American Client's Motor is seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager to lead project teams in alignment with departmental and divisional objectives.

• Help delivery teams work more effectively, focusing on continuous improvement and leading Agile practices for customer-facing digital products.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and project delivery teams to define product goals, backlogs, and roadmaps.
• Work cross-functionally with IT, business associates, consultants, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
• Manage one or more medium-to-large, moderately-to-highly complex projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, meet quality standards, and satisfy customer expectations.
• Develop project plans and team assignments, direct and monitor work efforts, identify resource needs, and perform quality reviews.
• Identify and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues appropriately.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, training, or coursework in Agile development, innovation, and process management.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager focused on customer-facing websites and digital platforms, including commerce, sales, websites, SaaS platforms, or website compliance.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
• Technical background with the ability to understand complex business requirements and project benefits.
• Ability to innovate, multitask, and work with minimal oversight.
• Ability to perform Scrum Master responsibilities.
• Strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to present to executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering consumer-facing websites or digital platforms involving complex data, transactions, or integrations.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for managing project artifacts and user stories.
• Automotive industry experience.
• Familiarity with Clarity for project and financial management.
