Experienced ISA Certified Arborist Wanted – Project Manager
AAA Tree Experts is one of the Charlotte area's leading tree care companies, proudly serving residential, commercial, municipal, and utility customers for more than 30 years. We are seeking an experienced ISA Certified Arborist with strong project management and leadership skills to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for a professional who enjoys working directly with clients, managing crews, estimating tree work, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest industry standards.
What You'll Do
- Manage commercial, HOA, and residential tree care projects from estimate through completion.
- Perform tree inspections and provide recommendations in accordance with ANSI A300 standards and ISA Best Management Practices.
- Prepare estimates and proposals for tree pruning, removals, crane work, stump grinding, and plant health care services.
- Coordinate daily schedules for crews, equipment, subcontractors, and project timelines.
- Conduct job site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with company safety standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, property managers, municipalities, and commercial clients.
- Monitor project budgets, production, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and company safety policies.
- Assist with emergency storm response operations when required.
- Mentor field employees and promote a positive, safety-first work environment.
Qualifications
- Current ISA Certified Arborist certification (Required)
- Minimum of five (5) years of professional tree care experience
- Previous project management, operations, or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of tree pruning, removals, tree risk assessment, and industry standards
- Experience preparing estimates and communicating with customers
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- TRAQ certification is a plus
