    Description

    Title: Project Manager Reports to: Chief Operations Officer

    Description

    The Project Manager leads standalone, multi-disciplined EPC projects up to $50M, overseeing engineering, procurement, and construction. This role is accountable for overall project execution, including safety, quality, schedule, cost, client relations, and team leadership, while ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and contract requirements.

    Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)

    General:

    • Provide overall project leadership, planning, communication, and coordination across internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
    • Ownership of project financials and the ability to evaluate costs and benefits to allow for correct decision making when reviewing short and long-term risks and opportunities.
    • Define project organization, roles, and resource requirements; adjust and delegate as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Understand and comply with local ordinances, contractor licensing, and city and county permitting requirements - including all subcontractors, engineers and project partners.
    • Lead meetings, drive collaboration while executing and managing tasks independently, and communicate project status, risks, and outcomes both internally and with the client.
    • Coach and mentor team members; manage performance, conflict resolution, and HR-related matters.
    • Demonstrate strong business acumen, decision-making, and have the ability to serve as a spokesperson for Company.
    • Able to read and understand standard specifications and drawings.

    Client interaction:

    • Act as the primary client point of contact while representing Strobel in a professional manner, anticipating and acting on project needs and expectations.
    • Set up and run internal and Client/Strobel kickoff meetings, as well as daily, weekly and monthly meetings with the client

    Safety:

    • Establish the safety culture consistent with Strobel's values, ensuring best practices are in place.
    • Understand Strobel's Safety Plan and develop/assist in site specific safety plan.
    • Ensure the team reports ALL safety events and near misses.

    Quality:

    • Understand Strobel's Quality Plan and develop/assist in site specific quality plan.
    • Read, understand, and ensure that the site's quality plan is communicated, and all inspections and quality documentation is completed on time and assembled for final turn-over.
    • Ensure compliance with all internal, client, governmental and 3rd party codes and inspections.
    • Identify deficiencies, inform and explain to the client, and participate in 5 Why Meetings and take corrective action.
    • Identify inconsistencies between industry's best practices and specifications/drawings and provide value engineering through the request for information (RFI) process.

    Ensure that the project team is qualified to perform their work and has the appropriate certifications/license to execute their work.
