Our client is a highly respected commercial general contractor with a longstanding presence in the Kansas City market. Their portfolio includes industrial, design-build, retail, commercial, and healthcare projects. With a strong pipeline of secured work and continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout.
Manage commercial construction projects from award through completion.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
Lead client communications and maintain strong customer relationships.
Review and negotiate subcontractor agreements and change orders.
Monitor project financial performance and ensure profitability goals are achieved.
Oversee project documentation, reporting, procurement, and contract administration.
Partner with field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining stakeholder satisfaction.

The successful applicant will have:
5-10+ years of commercial construction experience.
Proven Project Management experience with a General Contractor.
Experience managing projects from start to finish.
Strong understanding of construction contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controls.
Industrial, design-build, commercial, healthcare, or retail project experience preferred.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with construction management software and project controls systems.
