Our client is a nationally recognized owner, operator, and developer of premier retail and mixed-use destinations. Its portfolio includes regional shopping centers, outlet properties, lifestyle destinations, and other high-profile commercial assets across the United States.

The Project Manager will oversee the design and construction coordination of specialty retail spaces across multiple properties. Projects may include anchor stores, junior anchors, restaurants, entertainment venues, outparcel developments, and other tenant buildouts.

This position will manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with tenants, architects, engineers, contractors, internal departments, and property teams. The Project Manager will help ensure that projects remain on schedule, meet applicable design standards, satisfy lease requirements, and support on-time tenant openings.

Job Details

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, real estate, business, or a related field
Experience managing commercial construction, retail development, tenant improvement, or architectural projects
Experience coordinating multiple projects across different locations
Knowledge of construction documents, architectural drawings, specifications, and project schedules
Knowledge of retail design standards, permitting, inspections, and construction closeout
Experience reviewing tenant plans for compliance with landlord criteria and lease requirements
Experience managing budgets, schedules, change orders, contractor performance, and project documentation
Ability to coordinate architects, engineers, general contractors, tenants, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Ability to identify project risks and resolve design, construction, and scheduling issues
Ability to manage landlord construction obligations outlined in executed leases
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software
Ability to travel regularly to assigned properties and project sites
Valid driver’s license
