We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated Project Manager to support engineering-manufacturing coordination, retrograde material management, and cross-functional project execution for company owned/company operating COCO programs. The Project Manager will serve as a primary point of contact for project logistics, material movement, and cross-functional coordination. The position will provide guidance on SAP enterprise resource planning (ERP) processes, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and manage projects to achieve schedule, budget, quality, and customer-satisfaction objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring logistics and project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project management, logistics management, and the customer. Continually reviews status to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates internal sales orders and purchase requisitions and ensures parts and materials are processed through the system in a timely manner.
• Manages the shipping and transportation of equipment and material, including COMSEC.
• Coordinates with the International Trade Compliance department to ensure compliance with applicable EAC and ITAR requirements.
• Provides subject-matter-expert guidance on SAP ERP processes.
• Acts as the primary point of contact for retrograde material and works directly with the Depot repair facility to resolve discrepancies in an expedited manner and ensure contractual obligations and time frames are met.
• Reviews received and processed material for accuracy and corrects identified errors.
• Ensures rapid disposition of emergent requests for material movement and assists in ensuring the quality and accuracy of received material.
• Assists program managers with initiating, drafting, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) for approval.
• Initiates, tracks, and composes Statements of Work for Intercompany Work Agreements (IWA).
• May participate in or lead segments of the request for proposal (RFP) process to generate new business.
• Communicates project expectations and status to team members and stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Assesses project issues and develops recommendations for solutions that support production, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals.
• Creates progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

• Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and nine or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least three of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.

• Must have a thorough understanding of project management processes and procedures, planning and scheduling methods, and budget management.

• Ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.

• Must be able to work extended hours and travel as required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.

• Must possess:

• Ability to initiate, plan and manage projects.

• Ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop solutions to a wide range of complex issues.

• Strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Desirable Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency with SAP, including PACE and HULK.

• Experience as a Project Planner, Project Control Analyst, or Project Manager, including knowledge of project management best practices, business processes, and business systems.

• Experience in production control or as an Engineering Manufacturing Liaison.

• Extensive understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

• Experience in the aerospace industry.
