Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager II for a Contract job with a client in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate must have experience in project management, marketing coordination, and program execution, along with a strong ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders, campaign timelines, and customer engagement initiatives.

Rate Range: $62/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Project Manager II job responsibilities include:

  • Manage project plans, schedules, deliverables, approvals, dependencies, and execution activities for energy efficiency marketing and program initiatives.

  • Coordinate the development and deployment of customer-facing marketing materials across digital, email, direct mail, web, bill inserts, community outreach, and customer service channels.

  • Partner with energy efficiency program teams to support customer acquisition, participation, retention, and program awareness efforts.

  • Serve as the primary coordination point between marketing, regulatory, legal, customer operations, analytics teams, vendors, and external agencies.

  • Monitor program and campaign performance metrics, participation rates, customer engagement trends, and project milestones.

  • Support budget tracking, purchase orders, invoices, estimates, and campaign schedules while ensuring projects remain on time and within scope.

  • Ensure all communications, marketing materials, and program activities align with regulatory requirements, brand standards, and compliance guidelines.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Environmental Studies, Energy Management, Public Relations, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

  • 3-5 years of experience in: Project Management, Marketing Coordination, Program Management, Communications, Customer Engagement

  • Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders, deadlines, and deliverables simultaneously.

  • Experience coordinating creative development, approvals, campaign execution, and vendor management activities.

  • Proficiency with:

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excel

  • Project Management Tools

  • Performance Reporting

  • Work Management Platforms

  • Strong organizational, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional and matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Utility, Energy, Sustainability, Public Sector, or Regulated Industry environment.

  • Knowledge of: Energy Efficiency Programs, Rebate Programs, Conservation Initiatives, Demand-Side Management, Customer Education Campaigns

  • Experience supporting regulatory reviews, compliance-driven marketing activities, and program reporting.

  • Experience working with external agencies, implementation contractors, community organizations, printers, and fulfillment vendors.

  • Experience with Wrike or similar work management tools.

  • PMP Certification, Agile experience, or formal project management training.

Pay Details: $62.00 to $65.00 per hour
