Description

The Boldt Company, a subsidiary of The Boldt Group
Location: Appleton, WI
Full Time | Exempt | Regional Travel with Occasional Overnight Travel
Position Overview

At The Boldt Company, we build more than buildings—we build strong teams, trusted client relationships, and careers with purpose. We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager II who thrives in a collaborative, jobsite‑based environment and enjoys leading work from the ground up.

As a Project Manager II supporting our Industrial Special Projects group, you will take ownership of a fast-moving portfolio of work for manufacturing and industrial customers throughout Wisconsin and the surrounding region. Projects may range from urgent, short-duration service work to assignments lasting several months, including equipment moves, machine breakdown support, concrete foundations, millwright and ironwork scopes, facility modifications, and shutdown or outage work.

This is not a traditional role focused on managing one large project with an extensive project team. You will be involved from the initial customer call and jobsite walkthrough through estimating, labor and material coordination, project execution, billing, and closeout. Because customers may not always have complete drawings or a fully defined scope, you will use practical construction knowledge and sound judgment to help them determine the right path forward.

The right person will enjoy autonomy, variety, and direct customer interaction. You will manage multiple priorities, respond quickly when customer needs change, and build relationships that lead to repeat work and long-term partnerships. Success means becoming a trusted resource who can step into an unclear or urgent situation, organize the work, and give the customer confidence that Boldt will get it done.

If you're an experienced construction professional looking to make a meaningful impact, we encourage you to apply and start a conversation with us.
