Project Manager II – Cost & Estimating

Skills / Experience

Required Education and Experience

• A Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and two years of progressively responsible project management or professional level experience in an electric public utility or equivalent environment (such as government agency or private or public utility related organization).

OR

• An Associates degree from an accredited college or university and three years of progressively responsible project management or professional level experience in an electric public utility or equivalent environment (such as government agency or private or public utility related organization).

OR

• A high school diploma or GED and five years of progressively responsible project management or professional level experience in an electric public utility or equivalent environment (such as government agency or private or public utility related organization).

Project Management certification is required for Levels II-III.

Desired Education and Experience

• PMI Project Management Professional Certification desired.

Required Abilities and Skills

• Background in estimating, financial analysis, or cost engineering.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Ability to interpret budgets, forecasts, cost models, and financial data.
• Proficiency with project management and estimating software.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
