The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Project Manager I (Non-IT) – HEOR/Research Operations
 for a prominent client of ours. This position is located at Mettawa,IL-Hybrid Details for the position are as follows:

Project Manager I (Non-IT) – HEOR/Research Operations
Location: Mettawa, IL (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)
Pay Rate: $50–$54/hr
Duration: 12 Months (High Possibility of Extension)

Job Description

Seeking a Project Manager I to support global non-interventional research projects within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. This role will focus on research contract execution, SOW management, vendor coordination, budget tracking, and project operations across multiple HEOR/scientific research initiatives.

  • Manage intake and review of vendor proposals and facilitate execution of SOWs and service agreements
  • Coordinate contracts with Purchasing, Legal, Study Leads, Finance, and external vendors
  • Manage multiple research projects, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and budgets simultaneously
  • Track project budgets, forecasts, vendor spending, and contract status
  • Manage vendor relationships and obtain updates on project timelines and budget performance
  • Support contract execution and ensure documentation follows applicable policies and procedures
  • Perform data entry, quality control, and documentation within project management systems
  • Support resolution of project and process issues with HEOR scientists, analysts, Finance, Purchasing, Legal, OEC, Medical, and Commercial teams
  • Route contracts and project documents for required approvals
  • Support process improvement and system automation initiatives
  • Maintain project procedures, job guides, and contract-related documentation

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Healthcare, Supply Chain, Project Management, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent relevant pharmaceutical/biotech research operations experience may be considered
