Position Overview
We are seeking a well-rounded Project Manager with 7+ years of construction project management experience managing high-end custom residential projects. This individual will play a key role in coordinating with homeowners, superintendents, subcontractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure luxury residential projects are delivered successfully.
The ideal candidate will have either:
- A strong background managing high-end custom home (Plantation-style) projects with exceptional client-facing skills and the personality to work directly with discerning homeowners, or
- Proven project management experience overseeing K-12 construction projects.
This role requires an organized, client-focused professional who can balance construction execution with outstanding relationship management while delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-end custom residential construction projects from pre construction through completion
- Coordinate closely with homeowners, architects, designers, superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with field teams throughout all phases of construction
- Ensure clear, proactive communication between all stakeholders
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues before they impact schedule or budget
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction
- Build strong relationships with homeowners through professional, responsive communication
Requirements
- 7+ years of construction project management experience
- Experience managing high-end custom residential construction projects preferred
- Candidates with strong K-12 construction project management experience will also be considered.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to work directly with homeowners and manage expectations
- Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and project execution
- Experience coordinating with architects, designers, and subcontractors
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with construction management software and project tracking tools (e.g., Builder trend, Pro core, SmartBuild, or similar) preferred
