Job Details
- Manage heavy civil projects from preconstruction through closeout, including roadway, utilities, earthwork, site concrete and paving
- Own the budget, monthly forecasting, cost control and change orders
- Build and maintain CPM schedules and coordinate closely with superintendents and union craft
- Act as the main point of contact for public owners like TriMet, the City of Portland and ODOT, including DBE and workforce reporting
- Support estimating and bid reviews on upcoming public work
Requirements
- 5 plus years managing heavy civil or public infrastructure projects on the contractor side
- Experience on public jobs from $5M to $60M, ideally with prevailing wage and DBE requirements
- Comfortable working with union craft and running the job from the field
- Strong grasp of cost control, forecasting and scheduling (MS Project, P6 or HCSS)
- Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred, or equivalent field experience
