This general contractor is well known and respected throughout the South FL market, with their home office in Miami. They are working in several sectors of construction but actively hiring for strong talent within the healthcare sector of construction. Specifically, looking to add a project manager with experience in hospitals and medical cinics, new construction and local to the Miami area.
Job Description
Lead all phases of healthcare construction projects, including preconstruction, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, and risk mitigation efforts.
Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
Ensure compliance with healthcare facility standards, building codes, AHCA requirements, and life safety regulations.
Oversee project teams in office and on site.
Review and negotiate subcontractor agreements and manage subcontractor performance.
Conduct project meetings and provide regular reporting to executive leadership and clients.

The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing healthcare construction projects.
Demonstrated experience delivering hospital, medical office building (MOB), outpatient clinic, surgical center, and healthcare facility projects.
Proven experience managing ground-up construction projects.
Strong knowledge of healthcare construction requirements, regulatory compliance, and infection control protocols.
Proficiency with construction management software, scheduling tools, and project controls.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
