The firm delivers negotiated projects across healthcare, commercial, retail, hospitality, and industrial markets, and is growing from $50M to a targeted $92M business by expanding its ground-up construction division.Job DescriptionManage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Review and interpret plans, specifications, scopes and contracts. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers and owners. Maintain strong, consistent client relationships throughout the project. Lead project meetings and manage day-to-day project communication. Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications and project documentation. Review subcontractor pricing and perform trade takeoffs / scope reviews. Monitor project financials, including buyout, billing, costs and projected final costs. Identify potential project issues early and develop solutions before they become problems. Coordinate closely with field teams to ensure projects are being built according to plans, specifications, schedule and quality standards. Help identify opportunities for additional work and repeat business. Mentor and provide guidance to APMs and Project Coordinators. Stay hands-on with project details rather than simply delegating responsibilities. Initially oversee $3M-$7M healthcare renovation projects, with the opportunity to transition into and help build the company's ground-up construction portfolio. Proven experience managing $3M+ projects, including at least one ground-up project. Strong knowledge of MEPs, plans/specs, scheduling, budgets and project execution. Hands-on PM who takes full ownership rather than relying on delegation. Strong client and subcontractor relationships with a track record of repeat business. Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills. Healthcare, self-perform, estimating or BD experience is a plus.
